From space planning to custom fixture design and decorating we created an entirely new experience for their visitors. We also helped Kassatex take full advantage of their three oversized windows in which we designed and built custom displays and lit them with 15ft. lightboxes.

Our task was to create both Photography and Design showcasing the product in a way that would appeal to kids and their parents. For our photo shoot we wanted to feature kids simply hanging out, having fun while using the SlumberBags. We selected the most natural and relaxed images and paired them with a graphic type treatment to complement the bold pattern in the product. With the freedom to art direct this project from concept through production, we were able to ensure this packaging would have a strong visual impact in stores.

This app offers users several audio stories for them to customize with sound effects of their choosing. They can even record their own sounds. The dual purpose of this screen was to recognize Macaulay student achievements and also provide tidbits of information from outside sources.
The numerous projects we have completed with Macaulay over the years (including their website) helped to inform the aesthetic and visual approach for this new project. It was important that the addition of this bright LCD display did not overpower the space and that the staff and students that encounter the screen every day do not quickly become tired of the content. Therefore our solution was a series of image and text content screens that transition gradually every few seconds.
Another primary objective was to support the ongoing need to add student achievements and other information to the display. Our solution was powered by WordPress which allows for easy content editing and provides a solid foundation for future expansion and integration. Further, as the content is stored remotely, edits can be made anytime from anywhere.

We worked with Cassadecor to develop both a Brand Identity and an online shopping site featuring bed and bath products for the home.
Following initial meetings it became apparent that the Cassadecor story was one of luxury and handcrafted elegance. The client selected the hand-drawn logo we created, in keeping with the personal feeling of their bed and bath products.
Throughout the design and development we kept to the theme of an extremely clean and simple presentation that was both easy to navigate and driven by photography. Hand-drawn icons were used to identify sections of the site as well as a custom color palette to guide the user experience.
Cassadecor strives to be more than an online retail site, but a complete lifestyle brand. By providing photography and design, we're proud to be a part of this new venture.

Through workshops and seminars students learn to 'tell their' story and become better writers and communicators. The Story To College team selected us to design and develop an informative and visually compelling site targeted to their three primary audiences: high school students, their parents and college advisors. Mayo Studios was heavily involved in the overall site architecture, and of course the visual language. We later created promotional print materials building upon the design approach we established on the web.

We were engaged to design the expansive showroom from the ground up.
The initial planning included space allocation, defining the product display needs and creating the concept for the overall look and feel of the space. Our effort was focused on unifying the multiple brands and styles within Ellery's broad product portfolio and providing a clean, fresh experience for showroom visitors.
Working closely with the project architect, construction crew and the Ellery team, we created a series of custom fixtures and product vignettes with certain repeating elements throughout the space. Signage was important to aid in identifying products within their specific umbrella brands.
A great deal of on-site consultation with the construction team was required and we were often revising plans on-the-fly. The result is a gracious showroom for Ellery's ever-growing product line.

Mayo Studios was selected by Kravet to hold the launch of the Lee Jofa Heritage Collection, hosted by Traditional Home. Six renowned designers were invited to reinterpret a classic Lee Jofa print and create a vignette featuring their vision. Mayo Studios built each set to the designers' specifications as well as creating the event space for this large gathering.
The response for this event was sold out. It was Kravet's vision to bring all of these savvy guests to the Studio where they were able to meet: David Easton, Diamond & Baratta, Eric Cohler, Suzanne Kasler, Suzanne Rheinstein and Thomas O'Brien. Each of these celebrated designers answered questions and signed autographs.
Mayo Studios was proud to be a part of this unique event for Kravet, Lee Jofa and Traditional Home.

We were engaged to create a vibrant first impression in the windows of their brand new flagship showroom in the Textile Building at 295 Fifth Avenue.
The work occurred in two phases. First, our designers looked at the fundamentals of the space. We worked closely with the architect and contractors to ensure that the proper infrastructure, (lighting and electrical systems) were set in place to make any theatrical concept come to life. After construction was complete, it was time see the creative vision come into full bloom! Merchandise was carefully selected to represent several product lines offered at Nourison. Garden hose stems and two-toned paper leaves add a touch of whimsy to the windows, framed by a playful portal indicative of an enchanted garden gate.
Especially stunning after the sun goes down, this glowing garden is already dazzling the Fifth Avenue pedestrian traffic.
