The Whole Picture

Header Mayo Studios

27 Sound Entertainment approached Mayo Studios to put together a complete package for their exciting recording artist, Clinton Curtis. Encouraged by his music – a wonderful blend of the spice of Reggae with the sincerity and strength of Country Music - we developed a concrete image that we have tried to weave through all aspects of the media presentations.

We felt that Clinton's recorded material was personal and private so we designed an Attic Setting that would provide a sense of intimacy and reality. The honesty of the music also suggested that we pursue a simple logo type.

These initial steps were followed up with Website design and CD Album Packaging. Interpreting the essence of Clinton Curtis online, we wanted the exciting tone of the music and the character of the photography to speak for themselves - once again in a pure and honest way.

The success of the photo shoot has afforded multiple uses online, for posters and sales promotional pieces.

Clinton is presently on tour in New York and New England.

Header High Line

It's a rare and wonderful thing when a concept becomes reality and stays true to its original mission and lofty design - particularly when it comes to public spaces. We are in awe of the new High Line Park on Manhattan's west side. Visit in person if you can, or else check out their site for photos - past and present.
