Issue 3: May 2009
It’s interesting that one of the best compliments we receive actually comes in the form of a question. When an Art Director asks, "Where was this one taken?" we proudly explain that everything in our book was shot in our Studio.
Along with the great importance of presenting our clients’ designs at their very best - being able to make our photographs feel like "real homes" is just about our #1 goal.
We make a study of this. Our photographers have mastered a wide range of techniques to really make our room sets look authentic.
The Lighting is critical: our studio setting allows us to precisely position and shape light to achieve the desired effect. The way we style the merchandise should always look natural and effortless. A more subtle, yet equally important goal, is to be able to make a credible description of the people who live in that place.
More than ever, our clients are interested in using our Set Designs to reinforce a specific brand identity. When the viewer can identify with the environment we’ve created, they become receptive to the message that our clients wish to communicate.
