Studio Rental

Choose from our studios with a pre-built House Set, space for custom set builds, or e-comm seamless sweeps.

Studio A:

3,000 square feet with wraparound North and East facing windows. Our premier space, ideal for one or multiple setups. Accommodates in-house custom set builds. Larger productions may wish to combine with Studio B.

Studio B:

2,700 square feet with a wall of East-facing windows. This space is ideal for one or multiple custom sets or seamless sweeps. Larger productions may wish to combine with Studio A or Studio C.

Studio C: Pre-Built Townhouse Set

Featuring custom wood flooring, wainscoting and two working French Doors, this sophisticated interior setting evokes the timeless elegance of a historic residence. The Townhouse set was designed to accommodate the needs of photo and video productions.

Kitchen:

The bright, 600 sq. ft. kitchen is a spacious, North-east corner space. Open to the production studio (facing Studio A), the kitchen is fully-equipped with: induction range, oven, two refrigerators and dishwasher. Ample countertop space for prep and productions.

Conference Room:

The conference room is a sleek space with floor-to-ceiling glass walls on 2 sides, overlooking our production studio. Wall-mounted 50" TV monitor and mini-fridge. The glass conference table has seating for 10. Excellent, quiet and clean space for meetings or production use.

In-House Set Shop

Room Set

Mayo designs and build room sets that serve as the production-ready alternative to a location shoot. Styles range from traditional paneled rooms to more sleek and contemporary spaces. Many set pieces are already in our inventory so we are almost never starting from scratch.

Display Wall

A custom set with a single wall and a floor surface. Walls can be textured, treated with millwork, wallpapered or simply painted. Studio A offers the space necessary to create extra-large display wall sets.

Abstract 3 Wall

Immersive sets with 3+ walls can create a rich setting for video production, in-studio events or video podcasts.

Studio Information

Hours

Standard studio hours are 9:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday through Friday. Please let us know if you need to be in the space outside of those times and we can make arrangements.

Set building

The set shop, located on-site, is available for set builds as needed. Please let us know in advance if your production requires set construction of any kind. Important note: No outside set components are permitted.

Equipment rental

Mayo can make arrangements for equipment rental. Please provide as much advance notice as possible when requesting special equipment for your production.

Catering

During your production, Mayo can handle all food and beverage orders on your behalf. Feel free to contact us in advance of your production to notify of any special requests.

Private conference room

There is a private conference room / office available on site with direct views of the production studio.

Freight & Receiving

Our loading dock is located around the corner from our main entrance on 32nd Place, Bay #2.

Our dedicated freight elevator provides direct access between our loading dock and the studio. Please schedule all deliveries to occur between the hours of 9:30am — 12:30pm and 1:30pm — 5:30pm. With advance notice, deliveries may be scheduled ahead of your shoot.

Parking

Metered street parking is available on Skillman Avenue, 32nd Place and Queens Boulevard. Please check signs for regulations.

A Citi Bike dock is located directly across from our main entrance on Skillman Avenue.
